Patrick R. McElhiney will push for a complete automation of the U.S. Federal Government, by converting all Federal employee positions that can be accomplished through Artificially Intelligent systems, to allow for the firing of those Federal employees by relieving their position, and opening positions for them in the private industry - positions that are not necessarily in any way connected to the Federal Government. This will allow the AI technologies to collect taxes more efficiently, investigate crimes, dispense government benefits such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and manage virtually all aspects of the Federal Government and its vast resources, allowing the human race to focus on retirement and spending time with family. A ready military force will be maintained, however much of it can be replaced with robotics that are operated through Artificial Intelligence command and control systems, that will reduce significantly the lifetime number of injuries and deaths caused by war, should it become necessary to defend the United States from threats abroad. The AI will allow for saving trillions of dollars over a ten year period, while saving programs including Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, so that all Americans have the same ability to live their life in comfort, while reducing also the overall footprint of the government on the rich and successful - to allow for the stimulation of the American economy like it has never seen before.

Audits of the Department of Defense

Patrick R. McElhiney will push for yearly audits of the Defense Department, which they must pass or it will threaten to take away portions of their funding. If the Defense Department can't balance its books, it is costing the United States billions upon billions of dollars, not even including the interest on those billions, in wasted money. A good example of the way the Defense Department looses money, is when the DoD lost a plane full of cash on pallets that was transported to Iraq during the Iraq war. We cannot allow our taxpayer dollars to be wasted like this ever again, and the way to clamp down on the DoD's wasteful spending, is to force it to disclose information about how it spends its money - like the $4000 toilet seats. Once we learn about these problems, we can find solutions.
