Patrick is a pacifist involved in The United Nations that has beliefs against war. He lives in a reality in which the false-pretenses or false-realities of war are always negated out, to represent Presidential powers, if you will, to negate out all of the bad things as a diplomat, with a high rate of convictions against threats of violence. He has a vision of a world without crime, terrorism, treason, human rights abuses including torture and war crimes, and war. Patrick believes if war is conducted, there will be repercussions and ramifications for doing so, therefore the benefits never outweigh the risks when the actions are not to save the world from a sincere misdeed of an enemy. And thus, the threats on either side of a battle must be weighed by military courtrooms, to determine what is legal, and what is not legal to do, before anything is done.
