DOVER — Gayle L. Labrie, 58, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Gayle was born on Oct. 10, 1952, in Kittery, Maine, the daughter of John C. Quick and Martha (Karkavelas). She was raised and educated in Dover and had graduated from Dover High School, class of 1970.
She had worked for Fairpoint Communications in Dover for 15 years.
Gayle enjoyed going shopping, getting her hair done, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also very active at The Works in Somersworth. She loved to listen to music while driving her car.
Gayle is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert F. Labrie of Dover; mother, Martha (Karkavelas) Regan and her husband, Lawrence, of Portsmouth; daughter, Joelle (Stacy) Stanley and her husband, Tim, of Rochester; son, Ryan Stacy of Dover; stepdaughters, Michelle Maple and her husband, Kenneth, of Rollinsford and Lisa Turgeon and her husband, Kevin, of Somersworth; brother, Patrick Regan and his wife, Cathy, of Manchester; great-aunt, Joan Karkavelas of Dover; grandchildren, Michael, Kiara, Trevor and Jason Stanley of Rochester, Kelsey Maple of Rollinsford and Hannah Turgeon of Somersworth. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.
Her father, John C. Quick, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be private.
