Fire Fighting Drone Squadron and Fire-Retardant Carrier Plane

Fire Fighting Drone Squadron and Fire-Retardant Carrier Plane

This invention pertains to a drone that is used in numerous configurations, including with several drones in a squadron, that all reload their fire-retardant from a carrier plane that holds the fire-retardant. The drone can spray the fire-retardant in a narrow or fine spray pattern, to target the source of the fire on trees or in pastures or structures in the wilderness. These drones are autonomous, which means they are self-flying and self-operating, which means they automatically identify fire on the ground using artificial intelligence, and automatically put the fire out, through automated routines of unloading the fire-retardant on the ground, and the refilling it from the carrier plane. Both the drones and the carrier plane automatically fly themselves, and the carrier plane always stays at the altitude that it needs to be to stay out of the way, however within reach of the drone squadron, and the drones fly automatically and communicate with a sharing algorithm to determine which drones put out which parts of the fire, so they work together. There are various modes, such as redirecting the fire against the wind, or trapping the fire within a certain enclosed area of pasture. The drones can work with robotics on the ground to provide visualizations of where the fire is, and statistics as to where the fire will be going, so drones on the ground can clear pasture and forest to section off parts of land with backfill. The drone squadron also docks and lands within the carrier plane and is deployed from the carrier plane. Optionally, one can be attached to a hose from the carrier plane, which hovers like a drone in this instance, and expels a larger amount of fire repellant.
