MCE123 - Technology Development

Carrier Ship with Speedboat and Jet Engines

This technology pertains to a carrier ship with capabilities such as using air as a propulsion, the use of the aircraft carrier as a speed boat through the use of jet engines and water propulsion, and the use of an entire level of the carrier ship with vacuum compartments that intake air and compress the air into an exhaust propulsion stream, while gaining lift through hovering above the water or land. This technology would have the capability of moving a carrier ship at the equivalence of over 350 miles per hour. The jet streams of air and the travel speed with the jet engines and hover technology are incompatible with using conventional aircraft launch procedures, however the aircraft could be launched in reverse direction.
