Technology Development Projects

Sunscreen Technology

This technology would pertain to new types of sunscreens for humans, such as sunscreen pills, or longer acting sunscreens, or permanent sunscreens. Sunscreen pills would pertain to a chemical compound that can be taken before you go to the beach, or wherever it is sunny, that would apply compounds that protect your entire body from the sun for a specific period. When the protection begins to wear off, you could simply take another sunscreen pill. Another form of sunscreen, which could also be a pill, would be longer-acting or permanent sunscreens. These would act on the body for more than four hours, or quite possibly permanently, to protect the skin from the harmful UV rays from the sun.

Tooth Regeneration Laser Treatment

This technology pertains to a laser technology that allows teeth that have decay or cavities to regenerate themselves, based on the application of light that rapidly accelerates the growth of new tooth material where the light is applied. The operation would start by first removing a small amount of the tooth from the outside of the cavity, to ensure that no caries exists within the regenerated tooth material, and then the laser would be applied that would regenerate the tooth material. After it is regenerated, the new tooth material can be coated with an enamel that would protect it from decay in the future, and if it’s too large for the cavity area, it can be reshaped using lasers to remove excess materials from the area.

History Recording Toothbrush

This invention pertains to a toothbrush that has a mini computer inside that records all the past activities of the toothbrush, such as when it has been used, how it has been used, and also who it has been used by. It can have a fingerprint sensor that detects who picks it up, and also changing brush heads for different people.

Wirelessly Networked Vehicle Proximity Sensing and Warning System

This technology pertains to a system that uses radar, lidar, and/or cameras to GPS map out objects such as government vehicles, or persons based on facial recognition, and alert other drivers or operators of the technology of upcoming waypoints. An example would be a police car mapping out the vehicles, with their pictures and license plates stored in the system, and the maps on other users’ systems in their vehicles or other systems would show those assets and provide details about them if necessary. This could be used to track stolen cars, or track criminals that are detected based on facial recognition, and the map would update based on new impressions, to track movements, locations, direction, and speed, among other metrics. This same technology could also be used by civilians to alert fellow motorists where police cars are on their driving route, so that the drivers ensure that they are following all laws such as speed limits. This type of technology is to become more prevalent in the future, when more and more vehicles become connected to the Internet wherever they go.

Hearing and Vision Shield for Law Enforcement and the Military

This invention pertains to a technology that would shield law enforcement and military people from hearing and seeing flash bang grenades and other loud or otherwise blinding incidents. This technology could be on a special type of shield that goes over the face and eyes and ears, or it could be a combination of ear muffs and eye wear. It would act to block extreme changes in light and sound intensity. This type of technology exists already on home speaker systems. It would essentially work to protect people from light and sound that is outside the normal range of operation, for people in dangerous work environments. It could also be used in manufacturing, as well as a type of shield that blocks out a welder’s arc, but allows other levels of light through the shield. It could also protect from the light and sound from an IED, such as protecting them from the shockwave that would damage their ears and eyes.
