This technology pertains to the evolution of computer display technology from 3d monitors that use perspectives to view 3d visualizations of images, to 3d holographic projectors, which display a three-dimensional image emerging from a unit called a photonic programmer, which uses specialized electromagnetic fields to produce arrays of photons emerging from the photonic programmer upwards, using a combination of phased electromagnetic waves and lasers that can program individual photons.
It’s still a way off – we need to invent quantum computing first, and get the technological invention scale down to smaller than a single atom.
